This workshop will be a heart centered look at the complex emotions of guilt, shame, as well as, forgiveness. There will be a focus on the areas in which we find ourselves stuck in the cycle of shame. We will focus on how to inspire one another to move forward by letting go of resentments, forgiving ourselves, and forgive others. This workshop is intended to create an opening for each person to live their life in a lighter way, while create more opportunities to create intimacy and connection with others. Explore precursors and etiology of shame and guilt. Be more aware of when you are in a shame cycle. Learn antidote’s to shame and the 3 key components to shifting from shame to being grounded. Learn ways to become more heart centered: letting go, forgiving, and trusting.
Katrena Hart is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Allen, Texas. She is a Certified Bioenergetic Therapist (CBT) and serves on the board for the Dallas Society of Bioenergetic Analysis. She is also an Advanced Training Analyst (ATA) for the Dallas Society of Boienergetics. She has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as, Steven Vasquez’s Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT). She is a Trainer, Educator, & Practitioner (TEP) of Psychodrama and a trained Mediator. She is the Executive Director of Bridging Harts Psychodrama Training Institute & Psychotherapy. She finds her passion in sharing the skills, she has mastered, with her interns as a LPC Supervisor. Katrena Graduated with honors at University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Psychology. She graduated, also with honors, from Texas Woman’s University with an MS in Counseling and Development. Katrena offers training to clinicians, experiential workshops at agencies, as well as, teaches in the local college’s. She has a private practice in Allen with a staff available to see children, adolescents, couples, and adults. She also uses her group skills and training expertise to create weekend workshops and training intensive’s. Earn 3 Continuing Education Credits |
